In a blender, add the olive oil, tomato sauce, chili powder,
sugar, jalapeno pepper, black
pepper and salt. Blend for
a few minutes until smooth. If the sauce is too thick,
add a
little water and blend.
2. Place
the spare ribs in a shallow dish. Pour the sauce over
the ribs. Cover and refrigerate.
Marinate for at least 4
hours to over night.
3. Grill
over hot coals for 1 hour, basting until done.
