Zesty
Chops
Serves 2

1 Tablespoon olive
oil
-
2 Cloves garlic,
crushed
-
½ Teaspoon
fresh ginger root, grated
-
1 Teaspoon Dijon
mustard
-
1 Tablespoon toasted
onion flakes
-
1 Teaspoon sugar
-
1 Teaspoon turmeric
-
6 Tablespoons soy
sauce
-
2 Thick pork chops
1. Place
the pork chops in a shallow dish and pierce each pork
chop repeatedly on both sides.
2. Combine
the olive oil and soy sauce. Stir to blend well. Add
the garlic, onion flakes, ginger, mustard, sugar and
turmeric. Stir to blend well.
3. Pour
the marinade over the pork chops. Cover and place it
refrigerator for 4 hours or over night.
4. Grill
or broil 15 - 20 minutes or until the juices run clear.
