1. Bring
the water to a boil. Use a medium saucepan with a tight fitting
lid. Add the rice, bouillon, onions, garlic, butter, soy sauce and
mushrooms. Season with black pepper. Stir once.
2. Return
the mixture to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat. Simmer
for 45 minutes or until rice is tender. Add additional water if
necessary.
