- 
½  Pound top
round steak, 1 inch thick
- 
1  Tablespoon olive
oil
- 
2  Tablespoons balsamic
vinegar
- 
2  Tablespoons soy
sauce
- 
¼  Teaspoon
dry thyme
- 
¼  Teaspoon
garlic powder
- 
Black pepper to taste
 
 
 
 
 
 
    
1. Put all the ingredients, except the
meat, in a container fitted with
        
a lid. Cover and shake.
 
    
2. Pour
the marinade over the top round steak and cover. Marinate in
        
the refrigerator for 4 hours or over night. Turn  the meat on
        
occasion.
 
    
3. Grill
or broil until done as desired.
