1 Can Chick Peas
¼ Cup chic pea
1 Tablespoon olive
1 Small onion, chopped
1 Clove garlic,
6 Ounces bow tie pasta
Salt and freshly ground
Bring a large pot of
water to a rapid boil. Add the bow tie pasta and stir. Return
to a boil and stir. Cook for 10 - 12 minutes or until tender.
Place the olive
oil, chick peas, reserved liquid, onion, garlic, oregano, salt and
black pepper in a medium saucepan. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
the pasta and transfer it to a large bowl. Add the chick pea mixture and
toss. Serve and top with grating cheese.
